Question à propos de Anglais (USA)
In this sentence, "You have an upcoming event at which to speak."
If I break down into two-sentence,
you have an upcoming event. you have to speak at an upcoming event.
Am I right?
If I am right. can I say "you have an upcoming event which to speak at"?
Thanks in advance

the original sentence is wrong. you can say "You have an upcoming event to speak at.", or "there is an upcoming event where you have to speak."

I might be wrong but,
You have an upcoming event in which you are required to speak at.
You have an upcoming event. You have/are required to speak at the event.
These sound more natural to me

the way you broke it down into two sentences, the last part wouldn’t be necessary because you already gave that information in the first sentence. so you could replace “You have to speak at an upcoming event.” with “You have to speak there.” ‘there’ implies the upcoming event you mention in the first sentence without repeating it.
your second thing “you have an upcoming event which to speak at” doesn’t make much sense because the ‘to’ doesn’t fit in there, it would sound okay if you said “you have an upcoming event which you must speak at”
hope that made sense >_<

Your understanding is correct, but, the second sentence "you have an upcoming event which to speak at" is incorrect. In this sentence, "which" should be omitted, and it would be better to say, "you have an upcoming event to speak at." You could keep "which" if you use a complete sentence after it, e.g, "you have an upcoming event which you will speak at."
