Question à propos de Italien
Would you say that the Italian way of pronouncing the "r" sound is just the same as the Spanish one or would you say that there's actually a difference, even if it's just a minor one?

If you know Spanish, then you can use the same "r", it's basically the same. I'd say that the Italian one is slightly more emphasised, the Spanish one is softer when it's one and/or between vowels, whereas the Italian one is longer when doubled and clearer when between vowels. But yeah, the gist is the same'ish

@kathyprimabrevis
I remember that my Spanish teacher told me that there is a little difference.
He mentioned something about the "number of vibrations of the tongue". Like, when you say "r", your tongue vibrates.
I am not 100% sure, but as far as I remember, in words with double r, in italian there are 3 vibrations while in spanish only 2.
So while proununcing the word carro (it exists in both languages but has a different meaning), an Italian would pronunce the r a bit longer

@francescoghg Thanks a lot! So I was told that my "t" sounds more Spanish.. but that wouldn't be so obvious if I was speaking Italian, right?

Still, as he told us 4 years ago, I am not 100% sure and cannot remember all the details.
It would be nice if you confronted this with a website or so
Ps: I am learning Spanish which is spoken in Spain. As in Latin America there are many different accents, this rules might not apply to some American countries

@Kuroo3 Yeah, Latin American Spanish definitely has some differences in pronunciation or just the dialect in general, that's true.. but yeah, I guess I'll also have a look at a internet site :) thank you!

There might be some variations from one individual speaker to another, but I'd say they are the same. In linguistic terms, in both languages the R is pronounced as a voiced alveolar trill (IPA: /r/) when doubled or NOT between vowels (e.g. carro), and as a voiced alveolar tap (IPA: /ɾ/) when between vowels (e.g. pero).

@kathyprimabrevis your "t" ? Now that's new... I've checked online and they seem to be the same. Maybe you/they meant "s" ? That's a little different between the two languages (Italian "s" is the same as English, it's the Spanish one that changes a little).
