Question à propos de Anglais (USA)
what's the difference between "treat" and "relate" and "refer"?
woman say it to man (she means the man ignores her)
"why aren't you referring to me?"
"why aren't you treating to me?"
"why aren't you relating to me"?
/////////////
here, which preposition and verb should I put?
she treats to you as/like a dog (like/as)
she refers to you as/like a dog
she relates to you as/like a dog,
break up with her immediately!

@shalomAti In English, we don’t say either of those. The following are what we say instead.
“Why aren’t you paying attention to me?”
Or
“Why aren’t you listening to me?”
Or
“Why are you ignoring me?”
(An exclamation mark [!] can also be added at the end of these sentences if she’s yelling it.)
and if you want to demand it, you’d say:
Stop ignoring me!
This one usually sounds more rude.
(Do not add a question mark to this sentence at all.)
These can all used when a person is ignoring another person.

@shalomAti Of course!
“She treats you like a dog.”
(You don’t need to include “to” in this sentence!)
“She refers to you as a dog.”
This means that she calls the person a dog. Saying “refer” is usually used as a word for “call” (not call as in a phone call, but call as in naming).
“She relates to you as a dog.”
Well, I don’t exactly get what you mean by this one. We use “related” whenever something or someone is connected with someone in any way.

“As” and “like” are similar, but the wording depends on the sentence.
