Question à propos de Anglais (USA)

What is the term for a certain behaviour when you think X is true but you will say X is not true a moment later, but not that impossible to believe in the first thought that X is actually true.

E.g.

"I think she's hot." A moment later after someone's being rejected. "I despise her, she's not that hot". A few days later. "I can't stop thinking about her!"

In my country, we would say that someone is being "plin-plan" or "plintat-plintut". (Adjective)

I found these words using Google Translate and don't know which one is used.

- cross-talk
- fickle
- wishy-washy
- capricious

You could only show me which one or telling me another natural-sounding term, but I would appreciate if you also tell me what the different between those four.

Thanks 😅
