Question à propos de Coréen
I have a question, I've seen the phrase: "잘 다녀오세요", I know it means something like: Go and return well. In this case, is it used when the speaker is in the same place where the listener is going to return?
What about the phrase "잘 다녀가세요"? Is it even used? Here, the speaker is in a different place than the listener?
Someone please help me with this doubt :) Thank you in advance.

"잘 다녀가세요" is barely used in Korea. You understand well when "잘 다녀오세요" is used. But I think it is more like similar to "see you later". "잘 다녀오세요" has meaning but it is just a routine for seeing someone off.

we use 잘다녀오세요 when the speaker and listener is in the same place, and in this case, listener is going to go somewhere. and we dont use 잘다녀가세요.

Not necessarily!
다녀오다: to go to a place and come back
다녀가다: to come/go to a place and go away from there
For example, I can say to my father, "여행 잘 다녀오세요."(Have a good trip) on the phone, which means I'm not at the same spot with him.
Or, even it's a bit unlikely, but I can say to tourists in my hometown, "여러분 잘 다녀가세요"(It's again "have a good trip!")

@Think07 Ah, so the speaker doesn't necessarily have to be in the same place than the lister to say "잘 다녀오세요"~ Now I got it, thank you so much :)
